Watkins Glen International will add another chapter to a storied history of sports-car racing when it hosts the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen weekend from Thursday, June 25 through Sunday, June 28.
The weekend culminates with the 54-car, four-class IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship endurance event Sunday afternoon.
This is the sixth WeatherTech Championship race of 11 on the 2026 schedule and first since the Chevrolet Detroit Sports Car Classic on May 30.
The road course’s history of 6-hour races dates back to 1968. The Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen has been a track mainstay since 2001.
What race series are competing?
The weekend will include racing across five series.
Along with the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, drivers from the Michelin Pilot Challenge, Lamborghini Super Trofeo Pro, Porsche Carrera Cup North America, and Mustang Challenge North America will also compete.
Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen schedule
Thursday’s schedule includes seven practice sessions that run from 8:15 a.m. until 2:40 p.m.

Tickets are available through theglen.com.
Standard tickets are $137 or $125 for Sunday only. Tickets are $29 for ages 13-17. Spectators 12-and-under are admitted for free when accompanied by an adult with a ticket.

TV information for Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen
Peacock will provide live coverage from start to finish of the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen. IMSA.TV and the official IMSA YouTube channel will provide coverage outside the United States.
Peacock will also have live coverage of Six Hours of The Glen qualifying and the LP Building Solutions 120 at The Glen.
Last year’s Six Hours of The Glen
Tom Blomqvist drove to victory in the 2025 Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen after inheriting the lead in the top Grand Touring Prototype class with a lap remaining. Blomqvist teamed with Colin Braun to win in the No. 60 Acura Meyer Shank Racing w/Curb Agajanian Acura.
Those two are back as teammates in the same No. 60 Acura for this year’s race.
Six Hours of The Glen by the numbers
There are a total of 180 cars entered among the five series, with the WeatherTech Championship and Michelin Pilot Challenge entries including multiple drivers. The majority of Lamborghini Super Trofeo cars will also feature multiple drivers.
