Vote for the Varsity 845 boys basketball players of the week for Dec. 1-7

The Varsity 845 boys basketball players of the week poll is online for Dec. 1-7. Information was utilized on reports gathered by Varsity 845 and nominations. Coaches are encouraged to provide their game reports in order for athletes to be chosen; they may also nominate one player from their team by Sunday afternoon.

One athlete per school is allowed per week. The week’s winner will have to sit out the next poll.

Go to RecordOnline.com/sports/high-school and vote as often as you like until Sunday, Dec. 14, at 11 p.m. The winners will be announced each week on the @Varsity845 account on X/Twitter.

He posted 10 blocked shots and 12 rebounds to help the Panthers to a 69-34 win over Sullivan West on Dec. 3.

Liam Ebert, Washingtonville

He scored 19 points as the Wizards beat Pine Bush 63-52 on Dec. 4.

Camron Headley, Middletown

He scored 11 points as the Bears topped Monticello 72-21 on Dec. 5.

Jimmy Kelly, Goshen

He scored 22 points to lift the Gladiators past Wallkill 86-46 on Dec. 4.

Robert Lawrence, Pine Bush

He scored 13 points as the Bushmen fell to Washingtonville 63-52 on Dec. 4.

Desmond Lynch, Wallkill

He scored 16 points in the Panthers’ 86-46 loss to Goshen on Dec. 4.

Max Sheth, Kingston

He scored 16 points as the Tigers beat Warwick 58-47 on Dec. 5.

Charlie Theokas, Monroe-Woodbury

He had 11 points as the Crusaders beat Valley Central 50-41 on Dec. 5.

Ayden Ward, Warwick

He tallied 10 points in the Wildcats’ 58-47 loss to Kingston on Dec. 5.

Jordan Davis, Burke Catholic

He posted 18 points and 14 rebounds as the Eagles beat Port Jervis 59-51 on Dec. 5.

Adam Grady, Onteora

He posted 12 points and eight rebounds as the Eagles downed Rondout Valley 78-34 on Dec. 5.

Brandon Jenkins, Chester

He had 16 points in the Hambletonians’ 60-30 win over Fallsburg on Dec. 6.

Robert Kopp, Tri-Valley

He had 11 points as the Bears fell to Liberty 80-39 on Dec. 5.

Ashton Mack, Port Jervis

He scored 20 points to lead the Raiders to a 61-57 win over Chester on Dec. 3. He added 15 points in a 70-56 win over Seward on Dec. 6.

Tyler McCray, Rockland

He scored 19 points as the Wolves beat Deposit/Hancock 54-51 on Dec. 5.

Micah McDuffie, Chapel Field

He scored 22 points in a 42-35 win over Sullivan West on Dec. 5.

Oliver Nneji, Rondout Valley

He scored 16 points in the Ganders’ 78-34 loss to Onteora on Dec. 5. He added 23 points in a 62-60 loss to Rhinebeck on Dec. 6.

McCoy Rothe, Saugerties

He scored 14 points as the Sawyers beat Rhinebeck 85-28 on Dec. 4. He added 20 points in a 77-42 win over Onteora on Dec. 6.

Thomas Vandestine, Fallsburg

He scored 19 points in the Comets’ 62-57 loss to Seward on Dec. 3. He added eight points in a 60-30 setback to Chester on Dec. 6.

Grey Whitmore, Seward

He scored 39 points in the Spartans’ 62-57 win over Fallsburg on Dec. 3. He added 21 points in a 76-33 loss to O’Neill on Dec. 5. He had 26 points in a 70-56 setback to Port Jervis on Dec. 6.
