Grab some ice packs, water bottles and your favorite snacks. Trader Joe’s seasonal bag lineup is expanding yet again.
The California-based chain this week confirmed that the company will release new insulated tote bag this summer, Trader Joe’s spokeswoman Nakia Rohde said in an email.
Trader Joe’s insulated mini-totes
The company announced on Tuesday that it will be selling seasonal insulated tote bags this summer. Dubbed “the “Trader Joe’s Summer Fun Mini Insulated Totes,” the seasonal bags with a fresh summer look follow on the heels of the grocer’s viral seasonal tote and mini-tote trend.
The seasonal bags feature several bright colors – two have stripes and four others are solid colors. The bags’ colors include shades of green, blue, orange, red, purple and pink.
When will the totes be available?
The new insulated mini totes will be available starting Wednesday, May 20 in Trader Joe’s stores across the country. Availability will be limited as it is a seasonal item.
About the insulated totes
The totes have a zippered top closure and two reinforced handles. They measure 10 inches by 6 inches by 6 inches and have a 1.5-gallon capacity, Rohde said.
These aren’t the first insulated mini-totes sold by Trader Joe’s.
The company previously described the totes as a “fun and fashionable way to carry all kinds of goodies to and fro….Great for toting cold appetizers or chilled six-packs to the beach, a pool party or a barbeque.”
The insulated mini totes also double as a lunchbox or to carry a variety of chilled snacks and drinks to a playground or picnic and “make quite a statement,” Rohde said.
How much will the insulated mini totes cost?
Each insulated mini tote bag will cost $3.99, according to the company.
