If you’re planning a camping trip this summer, you may want to check out some of New York’s highest-rated campsites.
Hipcamp, a camping app similar to Airbnb, named 12 New York campgrounds among its best camps in every U.S. state. The rankings were based on bookings, reviews and ratings from more than 500,000 active listings.

Nightly rates for the featured campsites ranged from $20 to $64. (Note: Pricing can change, always check ahead.)
New York state parks and camping regions also recognized
Hipcamp also highlights several of New York’s most popular state parks and camping destinations. In addition to recognizing the parks themselves, the site recommends nearby private campgrounds.
Hipcamp also recognized the Adirondacks and Catskills as two of New York’s top camping regions.
