These are the 14 nominees from 14 different South Bend Tribune coverage area schools, listed in alphabetical order by school.
Alexa Santillan, Bremen
Last season, the senior goalkeeper was named an Indiana Northern State Conference (INSC) Honorable Mention for the IHSAA 1A state runner-up Lions. She made 113 saves.
Brynn Weirich, Concord
Last season, the sophomore earned All-NLC honors after leading the Minutemen in scoring with more than 12 goals.
Ximena Ramirez, Elkhart
Last season, the sophomore was selected as a Northern Indiana Conference (NIC) Honorable Mention as she played in 16 of the 8-9 Lions’ 17 games with two goals and six assists.
Jiana Camacho, Goshen
Last season, the senior earned ISCA All-District First Team and NLC All-Conference honors while leading the RedHawks with more than 11 goals and helping them clinch a 6-1 conference record.
Karsyn Bogard, John Glenn
Last season, the sophomore earned INSC All-Conference honors as the Falcons’ leading scorer with 24 goals.
Claire Huber, La Porte
Last season, the junior earned Duneland Athletic Conference (DAC) honors with 28 goals and four assists for the 5-9-2 Slicers.
Madison Mishler, LaVille
Last season, the sophomore earned INSC All-Conference honors as the Lancers’ leading scorer with 15 goals.
Kendall Bradley, Mishawaka Marian
Last season, the senior led the Knights with 19 goals, including nine in the state tournament. Bradley was awarded ISCA All-District First Team, ISCA All-State Second Team and NIC All-Conference First Team honors.
Sawyer Wodrich, New Prairie
Last season, the junior was awarded Second Team All-NIC honors for the 2-12-1 Cougars.
Brylee Yoder, Northridge
Last season, the senior earned ISCA All-District First Team, ISCA All-State Honorable Mention and NLC All-Conference First Team honors while helping the Raiders go 7-0 in conference play.
Aleia Ellison, NorthWood
Last season, the junior earned All-NLC honors for the 5-8-3 Panthers.
Emily Sachire, Penn
Last season, the junior earned Second Team All-NIC honors with seven goals and seven assists for the IHSAA 3A sectional champion Kingsmen.
Arianna Jones, South Bend Adams
Last season, the sophomore led the Eagles with 13 goals while capturing NIC All-Conference First Team honors and leading Adams to its first 10-win season of the decade.
Emily Keegan, South Bend Saint Joseph
Last season, the senior led the Huskies with six goals and earned ISCA All-State Honorable Mention, ISCA All-District First Team and NIC All-Conference First Team honors.
