The New York Jets traded for cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr. and from their perspective it was not a huge surprise.
The Jets (0-3) head into their “Monday Night Football” game in Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins (0-3) having struggled defensively so far this season.
As far as the Tennessee Titans are concerned, many were puzzled.
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said Brownlee fits his team’s “brand of football.” That evidently was not the case in Tennessee.
From the Titans’ view, head coach Brian Callahan tried his best to explain the decision. He noted it was a move made on their end both for the “short and long term.”
