The New York state Department of Transportation recently announced road closures this week in Henrietta.
To accommodate a railroad track replacement and paving project, State Route 15 will be closed to all traffic near State Route 15 (West Henrietta Road), between Commerce Drive and the entrance to Marketplace Mall. The closure will take place from 9 a.m. July 10 through 3 p.m. July 13.
Drivers commuting north of Route 15 are advised to follow posted detours using Calkins Road, Hylan Drive and State Route 252, near Jefferson Road.
Drivers commuting south of Route 15 are advised to follow posted detours using State Route 252, near Jefferson Road, Hylan Drive, I-390 south and State Route 253, near Lehigh Station Road.
Drivers should anticipate travel delays during this time and are advised to seek alternate routes if necessary. Construction activities are weather dependent and subject to change based on conditions.
