See the 2026 Section 4 award winners and all-stars for girls lacrosse

Chenango Valley/Johnson City junior Makenzie Lombardini and Horseheads senior Lauren Kozemko have been named USA Lacrosse All-Americans for the 2026 girls lacrosse season.

Academic All-Americans from Section 4 are Ithaca senior Kate Thomas and Chenango Forks senior Maggie Warpus, who was a repeat choice earlier this year as New York’s Class B Player of the Year in girls basketball.

Their selections were announced in conjunction with the release of Section 4’s all-star teams and award winners in all three divisions. Division 1 all-stars were not based on position.

Division 1

Player of the Year: Lauren Kozemko, Horseheads, senior.

Co-Coaches of the Year: Kaitlyn Hoffay, Ithaca; Jennifer Guzylak, Horseheads.

First-Team All-Stars

Corning: Brynna Walsh, freshman; Kennedy Driscoll, sophomore; Roni Nevins, sophomore.

Horseheads: Kaelyn McCarthy, senior; Lexi Lese, senior; Kate Rought, senior.
