Sam’s Club stores in New York are now open later on Sundays.
Due to “overwhelming feedback” from its members, most of its warehouses will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day beginning Sunday, Oct. 12, Steven Zapata, director of corporate communications at Sam’s Club confirmed to USA TODAY in an email on Oct. 9.
Here’s what to know.
What are the new Sunday hours?
Sam’s Club stores were previously open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. According to the company’s website, all of New York’s locations are currently open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
The club’s highest-tier membership level — Plus members — will still be able to get early access to stores from 8-9 a.m. daily.

Sam’s Club will also remain open until 8 p.m. — extended from its previous 6 p.m. closure — on certain holidays: Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and New Year’s Eve, Zapata told USA TODAY. The stores will still close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and remain closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
