New York Giants fullback Patrick Ricard has the potential to help the team’s offense improve in 2026.
Ben Arthur of FOX Sports ranks Ricard No. 15 among the top new faces in new NFL homes who could make the biggest impact on their respective teams next season.
A perennial Pro Bowl fullback, Ricard will be integral in helping the Giants establish the physical brand of football that new head coach John Harbaugh wants. Ricard’s lead-blocking skills will clear rush lanes for dual-threat quarterback Jaxson Dart and a balanced running back room that gets Cam Skattebo back from injury.
Ricard has played nine seasons in the league and brings significant playoff experience, having reached the postseason five times in his career. While he has never exceeded 74 rushing yards in a season, the Giants will rely on Cam Skattebo and Tyrone Tracy Jr. to handle the bulk of the ground work.
Ricard’s blocking for them, as well as for Dart, could prove vital in bolstering New York’s rushing attack.
