Two home runs by Raine Denny and a 10-strikeout pitching performance by Savannah Durham extended the Hornets’ season by at least seven more days.

O-A, after navigating a strong Section V Class D1 bracket, beat Class D2 champ Avoca/Prattsburgh in a crossover game, earning its regional playoff spot. After serving as the area’s only quarterfinalist, it will carry Section V’s hopes for a 2026 state softball championship to Binghamton on Friday, June 12.

Greenlight Networks Grand Slam Park will host NYSPHSAA softball semifinals and finals on June 12 and 13. Look back at game action below to see how O-A earned its spot.
