Legendary New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will make his return to New York for the 2026 season.
The veteran most recently spent the 2024 season with the Miami Dolphins. He was not on an NFL roster and did not appear in any games during the 2025 season. Beckham signed a one-year deal with the Giants on Monday and will enter his 11th NFL season with a chip on his shoulder.
Beckham was seen participating in the Giants’ OTAs on both Tuesday and Wednesday. The veteran is expected to need some time to adjust to New York’s offensive scheme.
“It feels good. It’s football. It’s definitely been a minute, but it feels good. It’s fun. I’ve been needing it. I’ve been missing it. I’m happy to be here,” he said.
Beckham made it clear that his goals have not changed since his first stint with the Giants. He said the main reason he returned to New York was to play well and win a Super Bowl—the same ambition he held when the Giants originally drafted him and he saw the team’s championship banners.
“Play well, win a Super Bowl. That’s the best case. That’s what you want to do,” he said. “I used to be in here looking at these banners. All I ever wanted to do for this place was win. Everybody knows, you can write it up however you want, I never wanted to leave here. I just came from a school where if we lost on Saturday, season was over. I hate losing. I hate it, I hate it. All I ever wanted to do was win. That’s all I want to do now.”
Beckham will not be the same go-to target he was during his previous time in a Giants uniform, but the receiver could quickly prove to be a reliable option in 2026.
Beckham and the Giants appear aligned in their pursuit of a championship this season, and the veteran looks ready to compete in his first year back with the organization.
