National Weather Service Binghamton meteorologist Ben Lott said that, while May 22 starts out dry and sunny, rain will move into the Binghamton area in the evening and stay until May 24.

Weather May 22 in Binghamton

The afternoon shows partly sunny skies with a high near 72 degrees.

Showers may move into the area after 2 a.m., with a 30% chance of precipitation, mostly cloudy skies and a low around 46 degrees.

Weather May 23 in Binghamton

There is a 100% chance of rain showers after 8 a.m. on May 23, with a high near 55 degrees. Lott said the afternoon could also get quite windy, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

The evening shows a 90% chance of rain showers and a low around 44 degrees.

Weather May 24 in Binghamton

The morning will start out wet, but Lott said it should dry out as the afternoon goes on.

There is a 70% chance of rain before 2 p.m., with cloudy skies and a high near 65 degrees.

The chance of precipitation decreases to 40% in the evening, with showers expected after 2 a.m., mostly cloudy skies and a low around 52 degrees.
