A day after the 2026 Dick’s Sporting Goods Open ended in a thrilling playoff finish, tournament organizers announced the dates the PGA TOUR Champions will be returning to Endicott’s En-Joie Golf Course in 2027.
As Broome County’s premiere golf tournament each year, the Dick’s Open brings golf legends and fans together for a celebration of the sport. In 2026, the tournament ran from June 26-28, and featured headline performer Kelsea Ballerini lighting up the stage on Friday night.
On June 28, the tournament crowned its 2026 winner Dicky Pride, who came out on top following a playoff with Padraig Harrington.
In a June 29 Facebook post, tournament organizers announced the tournament’s return to En-Joie on June 21-27 in 2027. The tournament will likely coincide with the final days of school for local K-12 students as it did in 2026.
The Broome-Tioga BOCES 2026-27 component schools calendar lists the tentative final day of school as June 25, with New York State Regents exams tentatively scheduled for June 15-25.
The course has an agreement with the PGA TOUR Champions to host the Dick’s Open at least through the 2029 season.
An aging irrigation system could bring that future into question if left unaddressed.
According to Village of Endicott Mayor Nick Burlingame, the village will hold public comment sessions over the next few months to explore replacement options — which may involve transferring ownership of the course to Broome County.
