A man who escaped from custody Saturday morning while being processed downtown has been located, authorities said. Details about where or how he was found were not immediately available.
Escape during processing
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said Eric Fountain fled at about 9:24 a.m. during processing.
Multi-agency search
The sheriff’s office said the Rochester Police Department, New York State Police and surrounding town and village agencies assisted in the search.
Limited details released
Authorities have not released additional information about the circumstances of Fountain’s escape or capture or charges.
