A new KeyBank branch has opened on the Vestal Parkway.
Located at 2531 Vestal Parkway E., the new full-service bank officially opened to the public on June 15.
At the bank’s grand opening on June 18, Regional Communications Consultant Sarah Doud explained the Vestal branch is “technically a relocation,” following the closure of the KeyBank in Johnson City.
The Johnson City location, previously situated within the Oakdale Commons, closed in October 2025 and was subsequently demolished to make way for a Chick-fil-A restaurant. All employees from the Johnson City KeyBank are now working at the Vestal branch.
As a result of the new branch in Vestal, the Endicott KeyBank, located at 117 W. Main St., was also closed on June 12 and consolidated into the new location. The property is currently for sale.
Danielle Bulger, who is branch manager at both the previous Oakdale Commons branch and the current Vestal branch, explained that opening on the Vestal Parkway was ideal, as the new bank is situated directly in between the previous locations and brings KeyBank to Vestal for the first time in over 20 years.
Doud added that the Vestal Parkway is an overall “better spot” and is the “best place” to serve KeyBank’s local customer base.
The new bank features high-touch banking services, digital video screens, a drive-up teller line, an ATM, and a client hospitality area that can also be used for financial seminars and group presentations.
KeyBank currently has two other locations in the Binghamton area — one at 282 Main St. in Binghamton and the other at 1314 Front St. in Binghamton.
The Vestal location will also be hosting a client appreciation event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m June 20. The event is open to the public and will feature food, prize sweepstakes and family-friendly activities.
