Two new players were added to the New York Jets roster following their three-day mandatory minicamp which unfolded last week.
The team announced that offensive lineman Marquis Hayes and pass rusher Jonathan Kingsley have been signed.
In corresponding moves, offensive lineman Zack Bailey and defensive back Tre Swilling have been released:
Jonathan and Hayes both tried out for the team during minicamp.
Hayes has yet to appear in an NFL game during his career. He was originally a seventh-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2022.
Jonathan was an undrafted signee of the Buffalo Bills in 2022 and eventually went to the Chicago Bears that same year. Jonathan returned to Buffalo once more in 2022 and stayed there until last season.
