How to get tickets for the PGA Tour Champions DICK'S Sporting Goods Open

ENDICOTT, N.Y. — Eleven pro golfers, a Grammy award-winning musical act and five days of PGA Champions golf in one week — welcome to the 18th annual DICK’S Open.

Just a few days away from the start of this year’s tournament, tickets for the entire tournament are still on sale. Usually capped around 5,000 people, the DICK’S Open is offering its usual Pro-Am tickets and general admission for all three rounds from July 8-13.

Interested in going? Ticket prices won’t cost you the prettiest penny — at least, depending on what kind of experience you’re looking for.

Pro-Am set for Wednesday, Thursday

It all begins with the Pro-Am rounds on July 9 and 10. The draw party begins at 5:30 p.m. on July 7, but practice rounds will be closed to the public.

Tickets are available on Ticketmaster for each day of the tournament and for Friday night’s concert for Maroon 5. Each individual day — with the exception of Friday’s first round and evening convert — are all general admission. According to the tournament’s website, bleachers will be at the 12th and 13th Greens.

Lawn chairs are permitted on the course and can be purchased day-of at the tournament’s merchandise stands. The tournament’s website also mentioned that seating will be on a first come, first serve basis.

For the golf fanatics looking to watch the entire tournament, there is an all-access package available. The package includes general admission from Wednesday to Sunday, including tickets to the Maroon 5 concert on Friday. This full-week package isn’t available to purchase online, all ticket packages can be bought by calling the tournament’s office.

Individual tickets for the two Pro-Am rounds (July 9 and 10) start at $43.60 on Ticketmaster — fees included. The general admission prices increase up to $124.50 for the first day of the tournament. The price of the ticket also includes entry to the Maroon 5 concert. The Maroon 5 general admission tickets also have an option for pit seats, standing room only. Those tickets cost $321.25.

For golf and music fans wanting a more exclusive experience, the DICK’S Open offers three additional tiered options: The Sandtrap, the Mic Ultra Party Deck and the Friday Legends Club.

The Sandtrap experience provides reserved seating roughly 50 yards away from the concert stage and a cash bar. Ticketmaster prices those tickets at $270, with extremely low availability remaining.

The Michelob Ultra Party Deck will be just to the left of the stage, adjacent to the clubhouse and next to the pit. Amenities listed include a gated space with lunch and dinner buffets and an open bar. Ticketmaster lists those tickets at $577.70 per person.

Tournament starts Friday

The Friday Legends Club is a private experience that sits across the Fairway and is next to the Sandtrap. This closed off area includes lunch and dinner buffets and a premium open bar. Tickets to the Legends Club are sold out on Ticketmaster, but third-party resale websites like VividSeats list tickets from $1,782.

The second round of the tournament, scheduled for Saturday, July 12, is free. There aren’t any specific exclusives or add-ons available on the website.

Finally, Sunday’s final round is all general admission, with tickets beginning at $62. The DICK’S Open champion will be crowned on the 18th green.

Public bleachers available during the Pro-Am rounds will also be on a first come, first serve throughout the three rounds of the tournament. The same thing also applies to lawn chairs being available.

Both the Pro-Am rounds of the tournament will be in a double shotgun-style, beginning play at 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
