Homeowner held suspects until deputies arrived

The 911 caller told dispatchers that the homeowner was holding the two alleged burglars at gunpoint until deputies arrived.

Investigators said the homeowner also fired shots at the tires of a vehicle parked in the driveway that was believed to belong to the suspects. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time.

After hearing the gunshots, the two people allegedly inside the home exited with their hands raised and surrendered to the homeowner, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies then took the two into custody without incident.

Items from inside the residence were found in their possession as they exited the home, investigators said.

Two charged with burglary

Alexandria Mosher, 19, of Lima, and Dominick Wood, 22, of Lima, were each charged with second-degree burglary.

Both were transported to the Ontario County Jail and arraigned through centralized arraignment. They were released on pretrial release.

The investigation remains ongoing.
