After securing their 20th victory of the season with a 90-86 win over the Chicago Sky on Saturday, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever (20-12) return to action tonight against the New York Liberty (20-13) at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Both teams sit comfortably inside the WNBA Playoffs picture as they meet for the third time this season. The teams have split the season’s first two meetings. New York won, 83-75, on June 6, while the Fever won convincingly over the Liberty, 108-88, on July 18.
Although Clark did not play in the first matchup, the former Hawkeye did score 17 points in the July 18 victory on 5 for 14 shooting, including 2 for 8 from 3-point range.
