Retired New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs, known as a violent, bruising force during his NFL career, has fired back at Logan Paul’s $1 million fight challenge to current NFL players.
Jacobs, who powered through defenses with his 6-foot-4, 264-pound frame en route to two Super Bowl titles with the Giants (XLII and XLVI), shared his thoughts on the viral offer.
“Man, this guy Logan Paul,” Jacobs said, via License Plate Guy. “Listen, man. I respect anybody who has the courage to get into a boxing ring because it ain’t easy. But for you to call out football players and offer $1 million (for anyone) who thinks they can beat you…
“First of all, $1 million ain’t (expletive). That ain’t nothing, bro. At all. And you’re calling out current guys. Current guys ain’t gonna get in that ring, bro — they got a lot going on. But I know three former football players that will get in there with you. Me being one for sure. Frank Gore being two. Le’Veon Bell being three. Call out any of those three. Then we’ll see what you’re talking about. We’ll see exactly what the (expletive) you’re talking about. Let’s get it poppin.”
The viral $1 million boxing challenge from Paul to NFL players stems from an escalating feud with Tom Brady that began months earlier. In late 2025 and early 2026, Paul and Brady traded barbs over athleticism in the NFL versus WWE.
The trash talk intensified around Super Bowl LX events, where Paul, fresh off his WWE success, asserted on the Impaulsive podcast that “not a single football player could beat me in a boxing match, that is on God.” He named stars like Myles Garrett, Puka Nacua, Tom Brady, and Sam Darnold, offering $1 million to any current NFL player willing to step into the ring, emphasizing “there’s levels to this.”
Active players like Dion Dawkins, Brock Hoffman, Kingsley Suamataia, and ex-Giants linebacker Tae Crowder expressed interest, while Paul brushed off retired challengers like Le’Veon Bell for lacking current draw or status.
Giants fans would relish seeing Jacobs step up against Paul’s bravado.
