New Yorkers are in for below freezing temperatures this week as an Arctic air mass settles over the Mid-Atlantic, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunny skies may fool some commuters Tuesday morning, but temperatures are expected to reach just a high of 21 degrees. Wind chill values will make temperatures feel like between 0 and 10 degrees, while wind gusts between 10 to 25 mph will only make the bitter cold feel more intense.
