Fly By Jing recalls certain noodles due to possible peanut exposure

Fly By Jing said it is voluntarily recalling certain lots of its creamy sesame noodles because the product may have been exposed to cross contact from peanuts.

The affected products were distributed nationwide at retail stores including Whole Foods and Thrive Market and online at FlyByJing.com, said Fly By Jing’s recall notice published May 13, 2026, on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration website.

People with peanut allergies run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat the product, the recall notice said.

Peanuts are not an intended ingredient in the noodles. Fly By Jing said in the recall notice that it discovered a third-party manufacturer produced the product on equipment that also processes peanuts under conditions that may have led to peanut being in the affected creamy sesame noodles.

Which Fly by Jing products were recalled?

The affected creamy sesame noodles can be identified with best-by (BB) dates on the back or bottom of packaging. The affected products were distributed between Feb. 1, 2026, to May 8, 2026. Affected products with their best-by (BB) numbers are:

Fly By Jing said it has immediately stopped distribution of the affected products, notified customers and retail partners, and put all remaining inventory on hold. The company said it has carried out  additional safety checks and corrective actions, including strengthened allergen-control procedures with the third-party manufacturer.

No other noodle flavors or Fly By Jing sauce products are affected by the recall.
