The Section 9 flag football coaches have selected their all-stars for the spring 2026 season.
At the Section 9 championships, No. 1 seed Middletown beat No. 3 Kingston in Class A; No. 1 Washingtonville beat No. 2 Warwick in Class B; and, No. 1 Rhinebeck beat No. 2 Our Lady of Lourdes in Class C.
In the state playoffs, Middletown beat Section 1’s Mamaroneck 14-12 in the quarterfinals and lost to Section 11’s Half Hollow Hills East 37-18 in the semifinals; Washingtonville bowed to Section 1’s Yorktown 33-6 in the quarterfinals; and, Rhinebeck lost to Section 1’s Westlake 26-20 in the quarterfinals.
