Visitors to Nyack Memorial Park’s revitalized waterfront pathway can enjoy the new landscaping, seating and overlooks areas from the fishing pier to the pedestrian bridge.
“We are really impressed with how gorgeous everything is,” said Kate Coffey of Tappan, who was visiting the park with her family recently.
According to the village website, the Memorial Park Shoreline Pathway project was designed by Weston & Sampson landscape architects in coordination with a project advisory committee of village staff and park stakeholders. Funding for the project included $412,276 from the Department of State, with an additional $139,092 provided as a village match.
