Endicott’s Concordia Restaurant will soon open the doors of its new location at the site of Consol’s Family Kitchen.
In April, Concordia Restaurant owners announced they had acquired Consol’s Family Kitchen, another Endicott staple since 1946, in a merge which will move Concordia into the former Consol’s location. To ensure Consol’s nearly 80-year legacy lives on, Concordia Restaurant will be adding Consol’s pizza and most popular dishes to its menu at the new location.

Will Consol’s remain open during the transition?
In a May 6 social media post shared on both Concordia and Consol’s page, restaurant owners announced Concordia’s final dinner service at 109 Odell Ave. in Endicott will come on May 17.
According to the post, Consol’s Family Kitchen will officially close the following day to begin the transition into Concordia’s new location at Endicott’s 101 Oak Hill Ave.
Concordia and Consol’s posts received over 800 combined likes and more than 100 comments and 100 shares, with commenters expressing excitement for Concordia’s new location and gratitude that Consol’s legacy will live on through its iconic dishes.
“We’re planning a soft opening on or about June 11th, 2025, and we can’t wait to welcome you to our next chapter—one that celebrates where we’ve been and where we’re going,” the post read. “Thank you for your continued support. The best is yet to come.”
Concordia Restaurant to merge with, relocate to Consol’s Family Kitchen
Consol’s Family Kitchen originally opened as Duffs Tavern in 1946, and has been an Endicott mainstay since, serving crowd favorite pizza and pasta dishes. Concordia Restaurant is a relative newcomer, having opened in 2023 at 109 Odell Ave. and specializing in fine dining.
Concordia restaurant is owned by Michael Romeo, who previously owned Celebrations on the Avenue on Endicott’s Washington Avenue.
The Sager family purchased Consol’s from the Consol family in 2023.
