Bills' Josh Allen updates injury scare after Texans loss

The Buffalo Bills had a bummer against the Houston Texans on “Thursday Night Football.”

The Bills (7-4) lost 23-19 to the Houston Texans (6-5) in Week 12. Buffalo’s offense, Allen included, did not have a good outing. The Texans defense beat him up with eight sacks.

Allen even having a game to look back on was briefly in question.

In the first half, Allen took a hit from behind from Texans pass rusher Will Anderson. It appeared Allen landed on his throwing hand and was in a lot of pain.

A few moments after, the QB hopped up and was fine. Allen did not miss any playing time.

After the loss, Allen explained that it was not a hand issue after all. Instead, Allen said via video conference he landed on his shoulder and his arm “felt numb” but that subsided.
