The Army Sports Hall of Fame will introduce seven new members for 2026, notably women’s basketball All-American and all-time leading scorer Kelsey Minato.
The 22nd class will include women’s tennis star Jennifer Blatty (1996-2000); men’s soccer goalkeeper Winston Boldt (2012-15); football tight end and offensive tackle Robert Dickerson (1984-87); hockey and men’s lacrosse netminder Thomas Garver (1973-77); skier and later Olympic biathlete Lyle Nelson (1968-71); and, wrestler Robert Steenlage (1962-66).
Minato, a 2016 honorable mention All-American, was the three-time Patriot League basketball player of the year and four-time first-team member. She remains the Black Knights’ all-time leader in points (2,556), field goals (829), 3-pointers (329) and free throws made (529). Her senior class posted 99 wins, with two NCAA tournament berths and two WNIT berths.
The 2026 class will be inducted on Friday, September 11, at Eisenhower Hall on the West Point campus.

Army Sports Hall of Fame 2026 class
Jennifer Blatty (1996-2000) – She played four seasons of women’s tennis, named to the Patriot League all-decade team and 25th anniversary team. She was named league first-team singles four times and doubles once, winning Patriot titles in 1997 and 1998.
Winston Boldt (2012-15) – He posted 24 shutouts as a soccer goalkeeper and named to the Patriot League’s 25th anniversary team. He was the league’s goalkeeper of the year in 2013 and 2014, the same seasons he was named All-America.
Robert Dickerson (1984-87) – He played 46 games for the football team, the first three seasons as a tight end and then offensive tackle as a senior. He played in Army’s first two bowl games in 1984 and 1985, He was an AP honorable mention All-American, and played in the Hula Bowl.
Thomas Garver (1973-77) – After a half-century, he remains the hockey team’s all-time wins leader with 75 and was the career saves leader for almost 30 years. He was named second-team All-East in 1977, and was a team captain as a senior. He also played two seasons with Army lacrosse.
Lyle Nelson (1968-71) – A member of the Army varsity ski team, Nelson later competed in four Olympic winter games as a biathlete, in 1976, 1980, 1984 and 1988, serving as the Team USA flag bearer and team captain at the 1988 Calgary games. He was president of the U.S. Biathlon Association and was venue director at the 2002 Salt Lake Games. He was inducted into the Intermountain Ski Hall of Fame in 2012.
Robert Steenlage (1962-66) – He was named an NCAA All-American in 1966 with a third-place finish at 123 pounds; a year earlier, he was the Eastern champ at 130. He led Army to tenth-place finishes at the 1965 and 1966 NCAA championships.
