There are some quiet weeks once the equipment is handed in after the final game, but there really is no offseason in football. Weight rooms have been hubs of activity for months and on Wednesday a dozen teams took part in the Mahopac Football Passing Scrimmages. For the last six years it’s been a place to make valuable connections.
Arlington, Carmel, Fox Lane, Harrison, John Jay-Cross River, John Jay-East Fishkill, Lakeland, Mahopac, New Rochelle, Panas, Rye and Somers all took part.
Mahopac will also be hosting two sessions of the Block & Tackle High School Camp, June 30-July 2 and July 20-23.
