Rochester Police Capt. Greg Bello said that officers located the driver on Tuesday, May 5. The driver – a city resident whose name was not released – was issued appearance tickets, among them one for leaving the scene of an accident, a misdemeanor.

The driver is employed by a third-party vendor that owns and operates Amazon branded vehicles, Bello said. The vendor has recovered the undelivered packages left in the damaged truck from RPD’s impound lot, he said.
