The New York Giants executed a blockbuster trade on Saturday, sending three-time Pro Bowl nose tackle Dexter Lawrence to the Cincinnati Bengals in exchange for the 10th overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.
The deal provides the Giants with significant additional draft capital as they accelerate their roster rebuild.

With the acquisition, New York now controls two first-round selections: The No. 5 and No. 10 picks. The team also retains its projected seven total selections entering the draft.

This infusion of premium picks allows the Giants to address multiple roster needs, particularly along the defensive line and other areas of weakness, as they enter the draft in Pittsburgh with enhanced flexibility to reshape the team.
