Roland-Story has surged up to No. 2 in the IHSBCA Class 2A rankings. Ballard is ranked No. 9 in 3A.
Gilbert is having a winning season and the Tigers sit third in the Raccoon River Conference behind Ballard and Carlisle. Collins-Maxwell and Nevada also entered the week with a winning record.
Along with those standout teams, there have been several tremendous individual performers from the area.
