The 2026 National Duals field was announced on May 12 — Iowa State will compete in the event, Iowa will not.
The Tulsa, Oklahoma, event will include the Cyclones as well as Oklahoma State, NC State, North Carolina, Wyoming, Virginia Tech, Arizona State, Rutgers, Minnesota, Ohio State, Arkansas-Little Rock, Oklahoma, Missouri, Stanford, Pittsburgh and Maryland.
The National Duals, scheduled for Dec. 12-13 at BOK Center, carries a total purse of more than $1.2 million.
Iowa finished second at last year’s revamped National Duals, earning $150,000. Champion Ohio State took home $200,000. Iowa State did not get an invite to the 2025 Duals.
Other top programs opting to skip this year’s National Duals include Penn State and Nebraska. Penn State coach Cael Sanderson told On3 that his program is “just not really interested.” The Nittany Lions did not participate in last year’s event, either.
