Iowa basketball star Bennett Stirtz lights up 2026 NBA Draft Combine

Iowa basketball star Bennett Stirtz likely turned some heads with his performance in the strength and agility and shooting drills at the 2026 NBA draft combine.

The Hawkeye star earned the invite to the combine after a stellar senior season in Iowa City where he averaged 19.8 points per game on 47.7% field goal shooting and 35.8% 3-point shooting. Stirtz also averaged 4.4 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game and was the driving force in Iowa’s first Elite Eight trip in 39 years.

On Monday, Stirtz wowed with some impressive numbers across the board. Here’s Stirtz’s unofficial results, along with where he ranked among Monday’s participants:

It’s a terrific start for Stirtz, who also tied for fourth out of 32 in the 3/4 court sprint with an unofficial time of 3.17 seconds.

Stirtz measured 6 feet, 2 1/2 inches barefoot and 186 pounds with a 6-6 wingspan and a 8-2 1/2 standing reach.

Stirtz was projected as the No. 26 pick to the Denver Nuggets in The Athletic’s post-lottery NBA mock draft.
