There’s still time to earn recognition as an Iowa Top Workplace.
For the 16th year, the Des Moines Register will honor outstanding workplace culture in the state. Any organization with 35 or more employees in Iowa is eligible to compete for a Top Workplaces award. Standout companies will be honored in September.
The nomination deadline was Feb. 27 but has been extended to April 3. Anyone can nominate any organization, whether it is public, private, nonprofit, a school or even a government agency. To nominate an employer or for more information on the awards, just go to desmoinesregister.com/nominate or call 515-598-7192.
There is no cost to participate. Iowa Top Workplaces are chosen based on an evaluation by employees using a short, 26-question survey that takes just a few minutes to complete. Companies will be surveyed through early April.
Energage, the Register’s Pennsylvania-based research partner for the project, conducts Top Workplaces surveys for media in 65 markets nationwide and surveyed more than 2 million employees at more than 8,000 organizations in the past year.
In 2025, 149 Iowa employers earned recognition as Top Workplaces.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a celebration of excellence,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage. “It serves as a reminder of the vital role a people-first workplace experience plays in achieving success.”
