The full Iowa State wrestling schedule has been announced.
Official dates for the Cyclone wrestling schedule have been released, just about two months from the first event. The 2025-26 season will start with the Cyclone Invitational, a five-team individual tournament with Wisconsin, Utah Valley, California Baptist and SIU-Edwardsville coming to town on Nov. 8. Each team will be able to send two entries per weight according to the schedule release.
The two biggest duals on the schedule, against Iowa and UNI, will both take place at Hilton Coliseum. The Hawkeyes come to town on Nov. 30, while the Panthers will come deep into the Big 12 season on Feb. 15. In addition to hosting Iowa and UNI, the Cyclones will host Nebraska-Kearney (Nov. 14), Utah Valley (Jan. 23), West Virginia (Feb. 13) and Missouri (Feb. 22) for duals, with an additional dual in Humboldt, Iowa against South Dakota State on Jan. 25. The Cyclone Open will be held on Jan. 18 in Ames as well.
Iowa State will hit the road for their usual tournaments — the Cliff Keen Invitational in Las Vegas on Dec. 5-6 and for a pair of duals against Lehigh and Ohio State for the Collegiate Duals hosted in Nashville, Tennessee on Dec. 21. They will then have road duals at Stanford (Jan. 4), Arizona State (Jan. 6), North Dakota State (Jan. 11), Oklahoma (Jan. 30) and Oklahoma State (Feb. 1).
The Cyclones bring a strong squad into the 2025-26 campaign, with seven NCAA All-Americans: Evan Frost, Jacob Frost, Anthony Echemendia and Yonger Bastida, as well as incoming transfers Stevo Poulin, Vinny Zerban and Rocky Elam. With a schedule of tough opponents on deck, fans should get to know a lot about the Cyclones fairly quickly.
