IOWA CITY — Iowa football offensive linemen Logan Jones and Beau Stephens were recognized as AP First-Team All-Americans, it was announced Dec. 15.
Jones recently won the 2025 Rimington Trophy, an honor presented annually to the most outstanding center in Division I college football. Jones joined Tyler Linderbaum as the second Hawkeye to win the award.
Jones and Stephens each started all 12 regular-season games for the Hawkeyes in 2025 — Jones at center and Stephens at left guard. Jones and Stephens helped pave the way for an Iowa team that averaged 177.8 rushing yards per contest this season.
Both have been stalwarts on the Iowa offensive line for multiple seasons and have been part of a successful rebuild under position coach George Barnett. After multiple seasons below the program standard, Iowa’s offensive line returned to dominant form in 2024 and 2025.
Iowa’s offensive line is a finalist for the 2025 Joe Moore Award, which recognizes the most outstanding offensive line in college football.
