After a well-earned six-day break since their last game on May 22, the Indiana Fever (4-2) revealed their injury report for Thursday night’s game at the Golden State Valkyries (4-2) inside the Chase Center in San Francisco, Calif.
After Caitlin Clark was listed as probable on the Fever’s Wednesday report with a back injury as the reason for the status designation, Clark was upgraded to available before tipoff. Joining Clark on the Fever injury report was Bree Hall, who was ruled out with illness.
Clark missed the Fever’s May 20 game with a back injury, but she returned in triumphant fashion with a 22-point performance in Indiana’s 90-82 win over Golden State in Indianapolis on May 22.
Clark played in just 13 games last season due to an assortment of soft-tissue injuries.
Through five games played thus far this season, Clark is averaging 23.8 points, 9.0 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game on 43.2% field-goal shooting, 34.8% 3-point shooting, and 96.4% free-throw accuracy.
As the Fever face the Valkyries for a second consecutive game, Clark and the rest of the squad will look to record their fourth straight win and improve to 5-2 overall as Indiana tips off a two-game road trip.
Indiana and Golden State are scheduled for a 9 p.m. CT tip in a game that will be streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
