Although Caitlin Clark’s 20-point performance in her long-awaited WNBA regular-season return today against the Dallas Wings ended in a 107-104 loss from Indianapolis’ Gainbridge Fieldhouse to open the 2026 campaign, fans still expressed their reactions to the Hawkeye legend’s efficient day from the floor on Saturday afternoon.
In 31 minutes of action, Clark scored her 20 points off 7-for-18 shooting, 2-for-9 from 3-point range, and 4-for-4 at the free-throw line, to accompany seven assists and five rebounds. Specifically, a plethora of those 20 points came in the third quarter, including passing the 1,000th career points plateau to close out the frame.
