Drake women’s basketball pummeled Illinois State 73-55 on March 5 at Knapp Center.
Abbie Aalsma scored 17 points to lead the Bulldogs (11-18 overall, 10-9 Missouri Valley Conference), who moved above .500 in the conference after Thursday’s victory.
Brooklin Dailey added 14 points for Drake. Anna Becker and Grace Knutson each scored nine points.
The Redbirds (18-12, 12-7) were outrebounded by Drake 43-25.
Drake has won five of its last six games and finishes the regular season on March 8 with a 2 p.m. CT game at UNI.
