Did you know… where this bank was located? This bank was located on the northeast corner of 2nd and Willis. The bank was founded in 1883. Perry had numerous banks over the years, with changes of ownership, names, and locations. In January of 1925, three Perry banks closed during the Great Depression. This location later became home to Woolworths and the Newberry Department store. The building was destroyed in a fire in February 1945. A new one-story Woolworths was built on this location, which also housed Conklins Jewelry.
