Another date on Iowa women’s basketball’s 2026-27 schedule has been revealed.
Northern Iowa released its full nonconference schedule at the end of last week, revealing that the Panthers will travel to Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Thursday, Nov. 12.
The November clash will mark the 32nd meeting between the two programs. Iowa owns a 28-3 lead in the all-time series, including last season’s 74-41 victory in Cedar Falls. Hawkeye guard Chit-Chat Wright led the way with a game-high 19 points on 7 of 8 shooting. Iowa center Layla Hays scored 14 points in the win as well.
Iowa has won 18 of the past 19 meetings. Northern Iowa’s lone win in Iowa City was an 83-62 victory on Dec. 19, 2006.
The contest also marks the return of former Iowa guard Callie Levin to Iowa City and Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The 5-foot-10 guard scored 23 points with the Hawkeyes last season.
