You ask, we answer. IndyStar's environment team fields your questions

Hey, Hoosiers! We have recalibrated our form for y’all to submit your burning questions to IndyStar’s grant-funded environmental reporting team.

Karl Schneider and Sophie Hartley cover everything from air quality to zoning issues, fulfilling their mission to keep readers informed about Indiana’s environment. But it’s a big beat and some things slip through the cracks, so we want to have a way Hoosiers can let us know what is going on in their backyard and share with us the environmental topics that matter to them.

In the past, IndyStar readers have submitted great questions to us and we were able to find the right people and research to answer those questions in stories everyone can read. These include:

How can Hoosiers plant native gardens? Are Indiana homeowners planting trees the wrong way?

How you can safely remove wildlife from homes in Indiana?

Why do some wind turbines spin as others nearby stand still?

What can Indy residents do about illegal dumping?

Submit your environment questions here

So if you have questions for us or think we should look into something within your community, don’t hesitate to enter your information into the below form and send it our way! You can access the form here via the following URL: formstack.com/admin/submission/report/59551761?share=BxT66fwTYG

IndyStar’s environmental reporting project is made possible through the generous support of the nonprofit Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust.
