Running back Jadarian Price may be considered the backup to Jeremiyah Love for the No. 21 Notre Dame Fighting Irish, but really he’s more like 1A.
And he has four touchdowns against the Purdue Boilermakers to prove it.
Price’s fourth score — third on the ground, he also has a 100-yard kick return tonight — was a simple one-yard run. Price set it up the previous play with a 12-yard run that fell just short of the goal line.
The touchdown drive was eight plays for 70 yards, consuming 5:01 of clock. It made the score 56-21 in favor of the Irish.
