South Bend Juneteenth celebration underway at LaSalle Park

SOUTH BEND — The South Bend Chapter of the Indiana Black Expo’s 27th annual Juneteenth celebration is underway at LaSalle Park, 3419 W. Washington St., next to the Charles Black Community Center.

The family-friendly event, which started at noon, will end at 5 p.m. and includes food, local Black vendors and the inaugural Craig Clark Memorial Blood drive held by the South Bend Medical Foundation. 

Mayor James Mueller and South Bend Common Council members are in attendance.
