RICHMOND, IN — Two Richmond residents face drug-dealing allegations after city police raided their home.
Brandon Tyrone Carpenter, 43, and Jeannette Ann Oliver, 49, are each charged in Wayne Circuit Court with dealing in meth, possession of cocaine, possession of paraphernalia and two counts of neglect of a dependent.

The dealing charges are Level 2 felonies carrying up to 30 years in prison.
On Wednesday, April 15, Richmond police served a search warrant at a home in the 900 block of North 19th Street in pursuit of evidence tied to “the distribution of illegal drugs.”
Officers reported finding 35 grams of meth, a smaller amount of cocaine, and paraphernalia including digital scales, plastic bags and glass smoking devices.
The neglect charges against Carpenter and Oliver allege their children, both in their teens, were in the house when drug transactions took place. Officials with the Indiana Department of Child Services were called to the scene.
Both Carpenter and Oliver were being held in the Wayne County Jail on Friday under $30,000 bonds.
According to court records, Oliver has twice been convicted of possession of meth, along with possession of a controlled substance, forgery and receiving stolen property.
Records reflect no felony convictions for Carpenter.
