RICHMOND, IN — The annual Pride Festival in Richmond is set for this weekend.
Local vendors and organizations will take part in the event, which is free, noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 28, in the Depot District.
According to its event page, there will also be drag, although the page doesn’t mention other events or activities during the festival.
At the 911 Tavern (911 E. Main St.) starting at 9 p.m., there will be an after-party drag show featuring Journey Oddyssey-Fever, Jamona R. Fever, Zarah W. Fever, Sheridan Steele and Aramiss Mann, hosted by Deztinee Diamond. Tickets for the after party are $15; entry is allowed only for ages 18 and older.
Benjamin Guard, one of the organizers for the event, created a GoFundMe to help fund the festival, which has raised more than $1,100.
Guard, as well as co-organizers Rainbow Richmond and the Rose Coalition, have not responded to a request for additional information in time for publication.
