Hoosiers in downtown Indianapolis seeking health-conscious meals have a new dining option with the opening of Protein Bar & Kitchen.
Serving high-protein bowls, wraps, salads and shakes, the Chicago-based fast-casual brand makes its Indiana debut on July 23 with the opening of a store at 6 W. Washington.
It’s the first of three shops planned by husband-and-wife team Franchisees Cody Selman and Jamie Little, and the first franchised Protein Bar & Kitchen location outside of Illinois.
The store is the 17th location for in the chain that was founded in 2009 and acquired by Founders Table Restaurant Group in January 2026.
Protein Bar & Kitchen at 6 W. Washington will operate 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
