2K Sports announced Wednesday that Caitlin Clark will grace the cover of NBA 2K27 Deluxe Edition.
The Indiana Fever superstar is the first WNBA player to be featured on her own global NBA 2K premium cover and the second Indiana pro, joining Paul George, who was featured on the 2K17 front.
“Being on the cover of NBA 2K27 is special because this game reaches fans all over the world,” Clark said in a statement. “To be the first WNBA player on her own global cover means women’s basketball gets to show up on that stage too, and I am proud to be part of that.”
Clark joins San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama (standard edition) and Chicago Bulls legend Derrick Rose (limited-time ultra edition) as this year’s cover athletes. Fun fact: All three were No. 1 overall draft picks and Rookie of the Year recipients.
The WNBA has had its own special edition covers the past five years, which featured Candace Parker (2K22), Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird (2K23), Sabrina Ionescu (2K24), A’ja Wilson (2K25) and Angel Reese (2K26).
NBA 2K27 will be available worldwide on Sept. 4, with the Deluxe Edition featuring Clark priced at $99.99.
Preorders are live on the NBA 2K27 official website.
