Has Notre Dame pulled ahead in the Brayden Robinson sweepstakes?
The four-star Class of 2026 wide receiver target announced Wednesday that he has moved up his commitment date two weeks to July 6. The Red Oak (Red Oak, TX) speedster has Notre Dame, Miami and Arizona listed as his finalists.
The 5-foot-8, 160-pounder’s original commitment date was set for July 20, but he visited Notre Dame just last week. Could this be a positive sign for Marcus Freeman and his staff?
It could be coincidental, but fellow ND targets Kaydon Finley (July 4) and Devin Fitzgerald (July 5) are set to announce their intentions in the days prior. Could Robinson be the final piece of an insanely talented receiving trio to commit to play in South Bend?
Robinson’s speed is noteworthy, as he has been clocked in the 100-meter dash at 10.45 seconds. He’s ranked by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 340 overall prospect of the 2026 class.
The Irish currently have two receiver commitments in this class with Dylan Faison and Bubba Frazier.
